We had a minor issue with the room setup, as the toilet was separated from the bathroom, resulting in a small toilet space. However, the overall cleanliness and spaciousness of the room were impressive. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to Perrache train station and a tram line that stops at many major attractions. The staff at reception were very helpful and spoke good English. The hotel also provided an electric kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Despite a few drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location, and helpful staff. I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Charlemagne.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel is conveniently located very close to a main metro station and the tram station, making it easy to access transportation. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with a lovely setting and a great variety of options. We also appreciated the hotel's commitment to environmental consciousness.

We had a great stay at this location. The hotel is centrally located near public transportation and shops. Our room was comfortable, with amenities such as air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. The staff was friendly and informative, providing tours and ticket assistance. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and the buffet breakfast was delicious. our experience was enhanced by the quality of service and the attention to detail provided by the staff.
Highly recommended for families wishing to explore the area in comfort and with quality service.

The common area had a piano and billiards, with classy music. The garden area was well decorated and amazing. The scrambled egg at breakfast was superb. The room and washroom cleanliness was great.

The WC being located in a different place inside the room was slightly inconvenient. The temperature in the room was a bit cold, especially during the nights, as the climate control was centralized.

I stayed at a hotel located in a mixed neighborhood near the city center. It was conveniently close to the Perrache railway station and within walking distance to the fancy area near Bellecour. The room was spacious and had a small balcony with big glass doors. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel also had a convivial bar with generous measures of spirits.
The limited number of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, requiring a walk to the train station or through the tunnels to find more dining options.
